Day 1:
Morning: Start your weekend in Crosslake by immersing yourself in the great outdoors. Drive over to Pequot Lakes and spend your morning biking, walking or running along the Paul Bunyan State Trail, a scenic path that winds through forests, wetlands, and picturesque landscapes. Before you head out on the trail grab breakfast or coffee from MN Traders Co. If you visit on a weekend be sure to check out their brunch board or mimosa flight!
Afternoon: For an afternoon filled with water adventures, head back to your cabin for some sun-soaked fun. Rent a kayak, paddleboard, or pontoon boat and explore the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ossawinnamakee. Take in the breathtaking views, feel the gentle breeze on your face, and try your hand at a new on-the-water activity. Fishing enthusiasts can cast a line and try their luck catching some of the local fish species, like bass, northern or walleye. I personally loved just hanging on the dock, reading my book and sipping on a little beverage!

Explore the unique offerings, from locally made crafts to handmade jewelry and artwork. Stop by Rafferty’s pizza for lunch and don’t get pizza (even though it’s amazing) try something new like a calzone or wings, be sure to ask for extra ranch!
Afternoon+: Check out Crosslake’s newest and only wine bar. Recently opened, this unique space is sure to welcome you in for an afternoon of fun and hopefully help you find your new favorite sip!
Evening: Wrap up your weekend in Crosslake with a memorable dining experience at Moonlight Bay, a fan favorite located on the Whitefish Chain. They recently just redid their patio which is giving major cities brunch vibes (but up north on the lake, perfect combo).
