Pelican Lake is one of the largest lakes in Crow Wing County covering over 8,000 acres and is located in the town of Breezy Point, MN, about 30 minutes north of Brainerd/Baxter. Pelican Lake is known for its clear water, sandy bottom and great fishing, specifically for Walleye.

Pelican Lake receives its inflow from groundwater and precipitation and was rated and has been deemed "crystal clear" and "very suitable for recreation" by the Minnesota DNR. The Pelican Lakes Conservation Club (PLCC) is active in the community and dedicated to the conservation of the environmental resources and maintaining the general welfare of the lake. The club frequently monitors water quality, manages buoys, stocks fish, and participates in recycling and litter cleanup.
