The artificial lake is a former iron mining pit in the Cuyuna Range that has since filled with water and is a beautiful destination to view the Fall Colors surrounding the lake!

Upgards Hiking Trail | Crosslake

Well-maintained hiking trails and scenic overlooks with benches make this a great spot to take in Fall and wildlife.

Pillsbury State Forest | Fairview township

The forest borders Gull Lake and Lake Shore with tons of hiking through the trees and surrounding lakes perfect for a fall adventure!

Veterans Trail | Jenkins

Right off of county rd 16 in Jenkins, this is a popular kid-stroller friendly destination with a unique picturesque bog boardwalk.

Fritz Loven Park | Nisswa

Popular, family friendly hiking trails and playground right in the heart of the Lakes Area! The Fall colors border the scenic River running through the park.

From the Lakes!

Head out on the lake for a Fall foliage boat cruise! The colors are even more beautiful lined along the shoreline reflecting on the water!
