The local BLA fishing report says the fishing is still great. Anglers will have to search in a little deeper water for walleyes at this time of the year. 15-23 feet have been an active range. Late Spring Outdoor Update: Open water season is here!

The sun is shining and the fish are starting to bite! Water temps are still cool, so anglers are having to work a little more for the fish.

Slip bobbers and a leach have been producing nice walleye and crappies! The smallmouth are aggressive and biting, too. Take a kid fishing is coming up June 10-12. Enjoy of a weekend of fishing with a kiddo and create memories of a lifetime. Licenses are not needed for this weekend of fishing!
